I love my WSM cooker... made ribs for 7 hours a few weeks ago... I need to fire it up again...

Maybe it's psychological but I've had Johnnie Walker and Dewar's... and then I tried Macallan 12 and Glenlivet, then Highland Park... I do smell/taste a big difference in quality and consistency with the single malts.

Highland Park 12 scotch... smokey and complex... and really consistently good.

I think Macallan 12 is good, but I've been enjoying Glenmorangie 10 and Highland Park 12 a little more. They are both different but neither are peaty.

Another vote for a french press. Simple Bodum one is fine... get a bag of fresh beans, grind them coarse... steep for 4 minutes and then press. Perfect.

I've wanted to try that... is it really much different form regular FM?
