Just finished the 7th and last season. The final episode was mind boggling good. Kind of brought the whole series to a conclusion and tied it all together. Color me impressed!

This is the one I grew up on! I am thinking of giving them a go again since they are on Netflix now. If a person was to watch them fresh, would you recommend starting with season 1 episode 1 or somewhere different and backtrack. I ask because I am limited on time and want to give it a chance to put its best foot forward.

Just finished up season two so am now totally caught up on all the episodes. Some really good ones in both seasons and a few that were boring. Most of these I don't remember seeing but never was a die-hard fan when it was first aired.

Cheers,

Ive been making my way through the classic Twighlight Zone on Netflix. Good stuff!

I personally would start with the first season episode and work your way through as it gives a sense of continuity and character development. JMHO.

My wife got to watch one of her thrilling and syrupy Hallmark Channel Christmas “movies” so it was my turn. A quick spin of the dial brought us around to TCM and “The Thin Man”. I had to miss “The Maltese Falcon” earlier in the evening so I needed a fun thirties detective flick.

Hold on a sec. I need to go make a Whiskey Sour. I stashed a lemon earlier today for just this reason. Let’s see...and the Powers Irish I think. Ya need to watch a Dashiell Hammett detective with a cocktail close at hand.

Tomorrow is our 40th anniversary and watching William Powell and Myrna Loy having so much fun horsing around is just the perfect prep for festivities. I am indeed the most fortunate of characters.

I just watched Mulan on Disney. Nice, feel good movie , not too much over the top with CGI. Not my normal kind of movie but I was curious and enjoyed it.

Again, very impressive in all respects. These four TNG movies - Generations, First Contact, Insurrection, and Nemesis were all several orders of magnitude above the series. Not only in special effects but character development and plot. Especially interesting was the undercurrent of humor which bubbled to the surface occasionally and which was largely absent in the series.

Can't think why I missed these when they were first aired but way great to catch up with them now.
