Crazy wind storm was tossing tree branches all over for half an hour - now everything is calm so having some St. Bruno Flake in a Keller cob. Since this is a tall narrow chamber I did a cube cut and gravity fed.

Best pipe of the week for sure: Germain's Eighteen-Twenty in a Design Berlin Royal Star (non-filter).

This proves that even menial chores like spraying weed killer are alright on a beautiful Saturday morning with a good bowl o' baccy. I just made sure to walk slow and easy so that my puffing cadence didn't get too fast. This tin dated June 2008 is a real treat, too bad I don't have anymore in the cellar. Like a bowl full of sunflower seeds with a hint of anisette and toasted poppy seed. Good stuff!

Since I started out the day so good I'm sticking with just my favorites today: just finished my own Bear Claw in a B&B 9mm pipe - a solid workhorse pipe. Next up Rivendell in a Sav. Probably finish the day with Benediction or something by Wilke - we'll see. Lovely weather, though a bot warm when directly in the sun.

Used my 40th bday knife made by a friend of mine’s father to cut up some well aged Gawith Hoggarth Brown Bogie. Will be smoking this in a little while in a Stanwell Royal Danish around a fire pit while enjoying some beers with friends. Haven’t had the Brown Bogie before....so wish me luck lol!

Ashton Gold Rush in a Buesher cob. A lightly aromatic Virginia blend that is good for the warm weather (right about 80 degrees today but pleasant in the shade).

Beautiful evening on the deck. 80 degrees with a little breeze. Polished off a tasty crab cake and now smoking MacBaren HH Old Dark Fired in a Savinelli Estella 115 EX. Drinking beer with the wife, while listening to tunes and playing cards. Life is good!

Arango/Stokkebye Balkan Supreme in an English Ben Wade. I always get flavors of an "everything bagel" with this blend: toasted poppy seed, even some dried onion flake. Really takes off by mid bowl.

Sid, what brand of pipe is that? Looks like my Sav Estrella.
My dear sir it's a Stefano Exclusive modified (rustic-paint work by me).

Today is not just another Monday, is THE Monday because since November 2020 the Cafe in Greece finally opened. At last after so many months which i was hiding in groves-parks smoking my pipe in a state of illegality i am a Free man to enjoy my coffee and pipe without worrying for a fine from the Police.

I am smoking Skandinavik Sungold breathing the sweet air of Freedom!

Ugh Monday morning! Starting the work week with MacBaren HH Old Dark Fired in a Savinelli Estella 515 KS. It’s going to rain all day, so no pipe on the deck this evening unfortunately.
