Mine is great, except for names. I'm trying to remember if I was ever really adept at remembering names. I don't think I was, unless it was an important business contact.

Be sure to get some complex carbohydrates in your diet. Brain fuel. I'm no nutrition expert. I'm no dietary expert. I did some reading up on the Atkins diet when it was the fad, and then now this paleo diet thing. The paleo covers it, but back in the early stages of this type of dieting, they didn't do well enough accounting for complex carb intake as they were shooting for the ketosis in a less than ideal way. And people seem to be on the confused side when it comes to carbohydrates, sugars, etc.

I've always had trouble remembering names of people I just met, unless they somehow have to figure into my life on a regular basis. And even then it takes a few times before I can remember their name. I know all about those tricks of trying to associate their name with something one can remember easily but that's never worked for me.

Cheers,

RR

I used to remember names like a phonebook. Not so much anymore. But, at my age, I don't really care. If the person isn't important in my life why clutter up my brain with their name, which is useless information.

I've always been woeful with names, the only thing that I've found to help me is to repeat the persons name to myself three times whilst shaking their hand or rubbing elbows. Even then I might just remember the first letter...

As I tell my students, I'm a historian; I only have to remember the names of dead people.

When I got off work today and after putting my lunch box and laundry inside of my truck the keys were missing. Opened lunchbox and dug around for them inside it and no keys. Opened laundry bag pulled socks and such out, nothing. Checked drivers seat and center console, nothing. Reached and felt for keys in the ignition and there they were with the truck running. Not sure if I ever had them and the truck sat there and idled away for ten hours. At least I found them.

Nib, not sure I would admit to that but see how it could happen. My wife's Infinity has a push button, no key starter. And it's damn quiet. Couple of times I've put it in park and forgot to hit the button to turn it off. Fortunately if you try to exit the vehicle with it running it dings like crazy to let you know, lol.

This is a 2011 Silverado WT, roll down windows, open doors and wash floor out with water hose. No seat belt alarms no dingers to distract. I'm sure I unlocked the door and started the truck but damn sure don't remember doing it, not one bit. A person does so many things by habit without thinking about it when your mind is on cruise control.
