Just finishing the CH in the Kaywoodie. Smoking okay but have to watch my cadence as it has a tendency to get hot if puffed too quick. Not sure hiw I feel about the "drinkless " filter. You Kaywoodie owners, what do you think about removing it?? Thanks for any advice.
I have some that draw great with the drinkless and ones that don't. If it's not a specimen, I'd chop it if the airway is tight Just make sure to leave the threads 👍

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and snow peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm just passing the quarter mark on this bowl of first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Smoking Old Dublin in a Parker Oom Paul. Just back from Top Gun 2 movie...our military pilots are a very special, an extremely talented and very different breed.

We'd live an utterly unrecognizable world if not for 240+ years of American military personnel.

Decided to treat myself to a bowl of 1960s Edgeworth Ready Rubbed in a medium bend dark brown 2017 Don Warren 17 smooth straight grain rough top Dublin with a multi-brown cumberland stem and ferrule in the military mount style. A friend gave me a small jar of it three years ago, and it was time to have a bowl. The pipe I'm smoking has only seen original Edgeworth so it's getting some overdue attention. It's so interesting how fermentation over the years gave this particular sample a light fruity wine essence that overshadows the cocoa and to a small extent, the molasses. It's retained some moisture, but still burns a tad quickly as I'm nearing the half way mark already.
