Shepards Pipe, You got it going on down in the Ozarks. Quality beard, quality tobacco, quality acorn cob, and a subsistence farm! View attachment 6130
😆. You should see the little track home community in the SF east bay that I came from. Yeah, I woke the hell up 4 years ago. The result was a plan to get over myself first. I dove into researching regenerative ag. and animal husbandry techniques… homesteading blogs and books, location… cashed ourselves out of our California interests then we dove right in. Somewhere between Cali and Missouri the beard showed up! 😃

Good on ya Shep. I’m glad you are out of the rat race over in SF. Even a track home is worth a million out there. I’d wavy that beard of yours around like the American flag in the Ozarks. As my dad always said: “You got your head on straight.”

Zippo, You trouble maker. Always throwing fuel on the fire as you drink Yorkshire Tea, eat Yorkshire Pudding, and pet your Yorkshire Terrier. 😂

Found the following on the internet. Thought you would enjoy the pictures. Looks like they date back to the 1920’s.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am half way through this bowl of first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Larry's El Salvador Dali, neat, is my drink. Watching the Pirates-Reds game.

About a third of a bowl left of year 2021 unreleased Sutliff Black Virginia flake in a late 80's, early 90s James Upshall P DS Tilshead England Made By Hand L185 Canadian with a silver band and a tapered black vulcanite stem.

😆 It is a bit fanciful isn’t it? I don’t get too excited about carved Meer’s, I prefer plain but don’t have one yet. The 3 that I have I got from my dad who doesn’t smoke but picked them up at an estate sell. Aren’t dad’s great?!? This one has grown on me because of how well it performs with certain blends.

1990 Butz-Choquin mini churchwarden. I bought it shortly after I discharged from the Navy. My first pipe!! Yes, from a brick 🧱 in mortar shop in Modesto CA. that no longer exists. The owner had that vibe like the character in movies like “Never Ending Story” who always have that “special book” in the back that’s “probably of no interest to young boy’s such as yourself”. Well here it is tonight and I am smoking Carter Hall in it while I patiently wait for my SP Gawith & Hogarth package to roll in.

Today started out with PS Luxury Navy Flake in the old Castello K31. Shifted gears to WCC DeLuxe Crumb Cut in my Peterson Ashford XL90. Returned for a second helping of PS Luxury Navy Flake in my Castello 31 Trademark KKKK. Weather was a perfect 77° with zero humidity. All smokes were 8/10 on the Zenometer.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, barramundi and green beans dinner with a small scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I'm nearing the half way mark on this bowl of Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Evening Flake in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson Ebony POTY 4AB No. 422/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Deciding on what to watch as I get ready to clean a few pipes.

As long as you guys smoke those things in the privacy of your own home. Lol. The only thing that appeals to me about Falcons is the little Tweety-bird head on the stem. 🐤. Before Ranger takes up for you guys....I’m sorry for the unkind words. 😂. He can bench press much more than me!
Not sure about that. How much do you weigh, lol??

Now smoking year 2020 D&R Raccoon’s Delight in my very reliable smooth straight post-1938 pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. I sure missed smoking this blend and mosly certainly this particular pre-Republic. It was my first one.
