2006 Samuel Gawith Best Brown Flake in a Jack Howell Dublin.

A bit rainy here, but leaf color still popping. Sutliff Whimsical in a MM Pride raw cob. Because of the variety of them in this blend, it has made me more interested in learning about and smoking Virginias.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with a sliced golden delicious apple on the side. After that, I noticed a poor, pitiful, lonely half pound cheeseburger in the freezer, and I felt so sorry for it, that I sprinkled some mustard and ketchup on it, and put it out of its misery. That was my good deed for the day.

Now smoking the last of my stash of Peretti Cuban Mixture in an undated slight bent rusticated brown with a darker fumed top unbranded Micoli billiard with a white accented perpex ferrule, off center square shank and black vulcanite stem in the military mount style. Getting a few things done before my weekly Sunday pipe zoom at the top of the hour.

Mighty nice cool, rainy 60F morning. treated myself to a bowl of the original per-1974 Larus Bros. Edgeworth Slices in a Pete Mark Twain. Thick, dark, strong Hawai'ian coffee to warm the old insides!!! Awesome tobacco, maybe the best Burley ever made!!! FTRPLT

Now smoking first release Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem.

Almost half way through this bowl of year 2022 Mac Baren Burley London Blend in a smooth medium bend 2011 Rinaldo Collection Fiammata Silver Line 7 Odea 04 flame grain bulldog with a silver band and a tortoise shell acrylic saddle stem.

Smoking some gifted Middletons cherry in an old unnamed Oom-paul with a quick k-cup by Horton.

Not far from finishing this bowl of unreleased Sutliff VaPer in a mid-2000 decade Tom Eltang straight black sand blasted canted AJ Dublin with a cream and brown horn ferrule, and a tapered black acrylic stem.

Thanks EZ. Middletons Cherry is the first pipe tobacco I ever smoked back in 1985. Basket billiard from a tobacco shop inside Tanglewood Mall in Roanoke, VA. New smoker...tongue bite galore!

SPC Mississippi RIver in a Randy Wiley freehand bent dublin. Orange spice tea on the side. This stuff is growing on me. Have to accompany wife to a Republican Women's meet the candidates function in a couple of hours. Boring. However, Jim Jordan from Ohio is speaking and I do look forward to meeting him.

After dinner smoke, Caminetto rusticated billiard with my old favorite,MB seven seas regular blend with a McCafe decaf k-cup.
Sturdy, I got the Middleton`s cherry from a guy that stored it a couple of years, I think it`s mellowed some, LOL!
I just have to smoke it a bit slower than usual otherwise it will bite me hard. I have been making an effort to try some different blends...

Back from a break from my earlier Whimsical bowl to watch my recorded University of Tennessee Vols defeat of Alabama. What a game! Got some honey dos in too. Now the DGT and some Typhoo Golden black tea. I steeped it in a jar with some remnants of fresh pear jam my wife made, added some milk and it's great. Don't forget the biscuits and butter.

Last smoke of the day,Savinelli 616 ks, PS black cherry Cavendish and another k-cup.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, two big French cut pork chops and sugar snap peas dinner with a slice of pecan pie and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. I've a third of a bowl left of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink.
