Using Sturdy Papa 359's advice, I sliced really thin layers off my new Petersons 3P Perfect Plug (and it was a beautiful most solid plug), dryed and rubbed them a bit, then smoking now in an MM diplomat bent apple. This is a fine tobacco for a fine day, and has required few relights. Having with filtered water and some home roasted Ethiopian dry processed coffee.
Mmmm....Mmmm....Good! 3P’s is a blend that the more you smoke it the more you crave it. Smoooooth! For some reason I like it better in a tall thin bowl.

Some CH in a MM cob with a 2nd big mug of cowboy coffee while contemplating life and channeling my innerZsb McCahan. Still waiting on EZ to make biscuits and bacon. Zippo, I only have cowboy coffee in the morning. Should wear off by bedtime especially if you've been riding herd all day, lol.

About a third of a bowl left of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Enjoyed eight slices of cinnamon raisin French toast with a sliced peach for lunch. Followed that up with a nap, and then a bowl of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad.

Mid afternoon pipe of SPC Miss River special edition in a Charaton made Mountbatten. Vanilla chai tea on the side. EZ, I feel your pain buddy, literally, lol. Had some back pain early but went away by the time we got to the ranch. Okay when I saddled up but after an hour of riding flared up again. Had to cut our ride short and head back to camp.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2018 Solani 633 in a straight 1954 patent Dunhill 148 Group 3 black shell bulldog made for the France market with a black saddle vulcanite stem. Magnum Roastery Jamaican Blue Mountain is brewing while I watch the Yankees-Astros game.

A third of a bowl left of year 2016 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Cleaned a few pipes, and dedicated a couple of unsmoked (by me) estates to blends.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake in a smooth dark brown quarter bend post-1935 KBB/Kaywoodie New England Briar Pipe Company Flagship 83B Rhodesian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Dinner follows this smoke.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, rainbow trout and snow peas dinner with a small bowl of spaghetti on the side. Dessert was strawberries. I'm half way through this bowl of year 2022 Astley’s No. 109 Medium Flake in a straight black 1963 Dunhill LBS Shell 4S billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink. I DVR'd the Phillies-Padres game and am in the top of the first watching the Padres score four runs so far. Glad I have no idea what has gone on since, and if you do know, please don't tell me or it'll spoil the game for me.

Enjoyed a tasty golden delicious apple, and am off to the studio with a bowl of C&D Derringer in a straight smooth brown 1920s (Comoy’s) Lions Head 399 Canadian with a tapered black vulcanite stem. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink. Listening to the ball game as I work.
