Hello just wanted to say greetings from Cali. Just started collecting & smoking pipes a couple months ago. I’ve jumped right in and can’t wait to see what this community is about!!
 
I’ve been smoking only aromatics currently, like cult blood moon, lane limited stuff ,max barren vanilla & all the C&D aromatics

You should give Country Squire a try. Some of the best aros around. Rivendell and Cowboy Coffee top the list for me. Also Figgy Pudding when it's available.

I was on their site earlier..really wanted to give the Middleearth stuff a try. Thanks for the recommendations I will add those to my list.

Right on OC is very nice as well. Any pipe or pipe tobacco shops in the area that you know of. There’s really nothing out this way. I always have to order online. Trying to find physical locations near by.

You have Tobacco Trader in the Marina Del Rey area. That's not too far from you. I have a shop that's fairly local to me in Lake Forest that carries quite a bit of pipe tobacco and pipes. It was formerly called The Tobacco Barn but has recently changed its name to Cigar spot.
 
I’ve been to Tobacco Trader in Culver City. Great selection of pipes which are a bit steep in price but fun to look at in hand before buying online & the tobacco prices are usually double. Thanks for the info I may make a voyage out to lake Forrest to check out that spot.
