Been nursing another nasty cold all over the weekend, only just got rid of one, then bingo i got a double whammy. Result being I've been laying off the leaf, and hoping it clears soon. Enjoy your smokes my friends, i will enjoy reading all about them, and looking forward to rejoining you all.

Now smoking year 2022 Esoterica Tilbury in a 1978 slight bend CAO Turk's Head Meer with a yellow cream swirl acrylic tapered stem. Haven't smoked this meer in a while. I'm comparing the latest batch of Tilbury to the last couple of batches, which went overboard with the apricot topping. Looks like I'll have to add an update to my review. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Decided to try something different so dug into my stash and now having some 2012 Esoterica Margate in a Pete Watson with Yorkshire Gold tea on the side. This is a really good English blend. Can't say which I like better, this or Pembroke. But I could smoke either one and be happy. Wifey making her wonderful sloppy Joe mix for dinner.

Just passing the quarter mark on this bowl of year 2013 Capstan Blue Ready Rubbed in a smooth dark brown post-WWII Comoy’s Grand Slam 340 patent billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.

Hermit, Happy 70th Birthday!

Hermit, ditto on the Happy Birthday. Just finishing a bowl of JP Storm Front in a MM general cob. On my 2nd mug of coffee. Had a ton of birdies on the feeders till a Coopers Hawk flew onto the berm and scared them all but slowly coming back. Now, what to have for my 2nd bowl???

Some of the anonymously gifted McB Burley Flake in a Design Berlin 2011 POTY blasted bent apple sans filter. To whomever, thanks again, really enjoying this. Pairs really well with morning coffee.
