Figured I’d only get one pipe today, so I went back to Gawith & Hoggarth Dark Bird’s Eye in a Peterson 314.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, wild caught catfish and sugar snap peas dinner with strawberries for dessert. I'm a third of the way through this bowl of year 2013 Stonehaven in a straight black sandblasted 1957 Barling Exel 249 Fossil T.V.F. black billiard with a silver banded military mount and a black ebonite tapered stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Starting my day with a Brebbia bent Rhodesian and some codger Velvet ,freshly perked CR coffee,too
back pain woke me up early- 41 with rain here.

Good morning everyone. Starting out with CS Choctaw in a Butz Choquin magnum bent brandy. Big mug of CR coffee. Sun just peeking below the horizon. A fairly pleasant 38 on the patio with no wind. Heading out to the ranch in a couple of hours to ride. Haven't been able to for a couple of weeks due to snow, rain, and cold.

Smoking a Pete rusticated XL90 with MB 7 seas regular and another mug of my mornings coffee, Electricians are coming back shortly to hook up my new generator to the house,hopefully it will not be another 10 hour ordeal like it was yesterday! It was annoying yesterday having no power. I dislike having no lights,heat,but most of all drinking cold coffee all day!

Short on time so it's a half bowl of Amphora Orginal, kindly gifted by Swede, in a MM Park Ave. Wife bugging me to get my butt in gear as she wants to get to the ranch before they feed the boys lunch, lol.

KBV Golf Fore Glory in a small apple shaped briar marked Stetson. Never been able to find any info on this pipe but it smokes well and good to keep on the truck.

Smoking a Bari special freehand with CAO Bella vanilla,my mornings coffee is gone, time for a K-cup or two,no sign of electricians-I am enjoying it while I can!

A bit late on parade today, Mrs Z has been cleaning out my smoking den. And as usual everything has been shifted and I can't find anything. Anyway I'm plugging an Erik Nording Signature with some St. Bruno and watch the sun go down. Have a great day everybody

Smoking a new to me Smokemaster Bard, the seller was right this is a beautiful pipe, I inserted the pipe cleaner according to what I learned on the internet and it works!
I also received my tobacco order from WV smoke shop! I got a pound of Lane LL-7 and a half pound of Carter hall,needless to say I am a happy camper or should I say pipe smoker!

I just filled my large Ashton with MacBaren Scottish Mixture and with a large mug of black coffee I am going to settle in for a long enjoyable Friday morning. The smell of fresh brewed coffee and the wonderful room note from this tobacco will be savoured. After my second bowl, I substantially upgraded this tobacco. The big mistake I made was smoking this for the first time after enjoying a large pipe with the stronger Erimore. The more refined, aromatic sweetness of MacBaren’s Scottish mixture was lost to me. This tobacco is like a shy, discreet lady, whose fine, delicate, qualities grow on acquaintance. This tobacco will definitely have a permanent place with me.

Nevertheless, I continue to hunt for tobaccos that I can add to my smoking experience. However, help may be on the way as I ordered a packet of Condor from Dublin. This is a tobacco that I used to enjoy many years ago, before it became unobtainable. Hunting for, and trying new tobaccos, is of course, a large part of what we enjoy. Some members like Jimlinks seem to have an impressive range of tobacco that he smokes. He must to have a tobacco repertoire as large as his magnificent pipe collection.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

Finally, I am smoking some SG Best Brown Flake in my Savinelli Trevi 320EX. Dried it about 4 hours whole flake then folded and stuffed. The tin opening was a nice sweet and cooked fruit smell. In the bowl, it's somewhat sweet and full with some fruit. I hope it develops more as this bowl progresses. I'd buy it again at $14 per tin. I'm becoming more of a Virginia fan, and haven't really had a bad one yet. Some are more grassy, but hey to me that's nice too.
