Morning everyone. Late to the party since we slept in a couple of hours, lol. John Patton Storm Front in a Pete system B42 with fishtail stem. CR coffee in a big travel mug. Watching all the birdies, wrens, finches, sparrows, couple of towhees. Doves must have chowed down earlier. Wife blew off riding lesson as it's 23 and feels like 14. Quite chilly.

Bali, thanks for the info. I usually have 3 or 4 12 oz mugs in the am with my morning pipes. I will skip the bananas in lieu of coffee, lol.

Dr.T, do you own any pipes other than country gentlemen? LOL.

Since I had to send back the Pete House Pipe I am on the search for another large pipe that isn't so heavy. Would love to find another Don Carlos like my bent dublin. It has a huge bowl but only weighs about 2.7 oz.
This afternoon will have some Condor in a London made Charaton with Yorkshire tea in honor of Zippo. Have a great day everyone.

Very glad to see you on the mend Zippo-you will soon be lighting up with the rest of us. Received my Condor Regular Ready Rubbed from Dublin and tried a plug in my Savinelli. Many years ago, I used to smoke Condor Mild. The strength of this tobacco, (with it’s wonderful room note), came as a surprise - a wake up call for my taste buds! This would definitely not be an all day smoke for me. This would be for an occasional smoke, to be enjoyed with a strong, peaty, Islay malt that would meet this tobacco on its own terms.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style.

Decided to treat myself a bit, and opened one of my few McClelland Tudor Castle tins, this one from 2012. So, two bowls of this excellent blend in, guess what? yep MM Country Gentlemen
Ok, just how many country gentleman pipes do you have? Or are you smoking just one into oblivion, lol.

Zippo, I'm with you in spirit old chap. This one's for you. Some of your gifted smoking kills Condor in a London made Mountbatten by Charaton smooth bent billiard. Big mug of Yorkshire Red tea on the side. What you probably don't have is visitors like this over there. Beep beep roadrunner cruising around in the brush. Haven't seen Wiley Coyote yet. Lol.

Just finished smoking 2022 G&H Rum Flake in a 1986 three quarter bend Bacchus face CAO meer with a tapered dark tortoise shell colored acrylic stem. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Does anybody have a couple bowls of an older production of Rum Flake to trade? I'd like to compare it to the new to see if it has changed.

I'm going to do something I have wanted to do ever since I got the 4AB set: take an evening and watch Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes movies as I smoke 4ABs. The first one will be one of my favorites: The Spider Woman. Now smoking Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum.

I hope 'The House of Fear' is one -- lots of tobacco in that one, I wonder how 'Havanna flavored with Jamaican rum' would actually smoke?
