Enjoying a mellow, ponderous smoke of Old Gowrie out of a Vauen billiard, as I familiarize myself with the hierarchy of the troupe of local squirrels, evidenced by which ones get first dibs on the peanuts and cherries I've left out for them. Interestingly, just as with humans, it isn't always the biggest and strongest of the bunch that commands the most respect. As I watch a comparatively diminutive, elderly squirrel shoo away a younger fellow about twice his size with nothing more than a sideways glance, I think to myself.. there's a lesson in here somewhere.

Enjoyed a tasty lunch, and am nearing the half way mark on this bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Gold Star Jamaican Estate Reserve, neat, is my drink. It's time for my weekly Sunday pipe zoom.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Been raining all morning and will all day, so no walking for me unless luck comes my way.

Raincoat? Galoshes? Umbrella? Problem solved, LOL.

Back from the ranch. SPC Mississippi RIver Special Reserve in a Randy Wiley freehand bent dublin. English black tea with a splash of Jim Beam on the side. Our new residents were in a playful mood today.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and snow peas dinner with six pieces of baklava for dessert. Just finished smoking year 2012 Dan Tobacco Hamborger Veermaster in a medium bend black sandblasted 1925 Dunhill double patent “Shell” 56/10 billiard with a tapered black vulcanite stem.
