I jar anything I open so technically I don't have open tins. However, I have probably 25 or so jars available to smoke. Some from tins like GLP, McB, SPC, and bulk like the CS blends. I tend to smoke my top 5 or so favorites in the morning with coffee, and branch out to the others in the afternoon or evening. I also have a tub of 100+ baggies kindly gifted by Brunello. I hope to get to all of them sometime if I live long enough, lol.

Popped open a tin of Bengal Slices white yesterday but haven't tried it yet. Will today. No date on the tin but I'm sure it's at least 4 or 5 years old.

Thing is they're all Lat blends and it and Latakia isn't agreeing with me lately. It'll pass I'm sure.
It might pass - for me it did not, I stopped smoking Lat blends 4 or 5 years ago. Even tried to go back to them - just can't

One never knows how one's taste might develop/change. That's the main reason I still various Lat blends and tins of Warhorse.

Happened to me a number of years ago and I can’t go back either. Used to love ‘em…now can’t stand ‘em. I used to be a big fan of dark fired blends too but I’m kind of off those now as well. Life goes on.

There's a reason I stocked up on Virginias even though I don't smoke them much. Heard from many pipers how their tastes changed as they got older.

Even if my tastes don't change, I'll have some yummy smokes when the tins are a bit older.

That's a shame mate.

Typical forum response, you can always send them to me for disposal. ;)
LOL, you'll be the first one I think of when I'm ready to pass them on.

Tastes change over time so I'm hesitant to make hasty decisions. I've been grateful about that on many occasions. But EMP was one I lost a taste for and got rid of. When I came back to it years later it was on the endangered species list. 😢

It's funny because my first favorites were all Lat and Oriental blends. At one point it shifted hard to VaPers and then to more Burley laced goodies. Unfortunately it's been like a ratchet and hasn't sprung back yet. We'll see. Time's on our side, right?

Fully respect that mate, got some tins of MacB Bold Kentucky that I'm not sure I'll ever get around to as it floored me. I'm still hesitant to move them on for the same reason. I may get around to liking them someday.
