Last pipe of the day, GLP Charring Cross in an MM Diplomat.

balkan to shock my tastebuds!
I've become a fan of G. L. Pease blends in particular, strongest flavor Charring Cross, followed by Odyssey, tasty anytime blend Kensington, most oriental Ashbury. According to his site Abington is the fullest (I have a tin in the queue). These are blends of Virginia, Oriental/Turkish and Latakia; I don't like blends with Perique or Dark Fired Kentucky, the jury is still out on other types of Burley.

Another quick pre dinner smoke. C&D Billy Budd in a 60s vintage Comoys straight billiard. Two fingers of Yukon Jack on the side. Jim, hope I didn't insult you by suggesting you eat like a billy goat. Just don't know anyone else who could polish off 2 lbs of ribs in one sitting. Wish I could since I love ribs, lol. Also out at the ranch bugsy demanded an apology. LOL
I used to eat more when I was younger.

Not far from finishing this bowl of Wilke No. 515 Double Shot in a smooth dark medium bend 2021 Peterson Heritage Brown POTY 4AB No. 45/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. This is No. 515 with twice the rum of the Basil Rathbone blend. Went a little faster than I expected. Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

Hey! What channel do you get Banacek on?

Rouxgaroux in a falcon. Water from the well to pair. Watching Svengoolie on the boob tube. Creature From The Black Lagoon. Still black and white, but crispy. Like the video was digitally remastered.
Cozi every Saturday. They run McCloud, Columbo, and McMillan and Wife, too. I record Banacek and McCloud so we can watch them at our leisure.

Hello from Athens-Greece, today we have light rain-cold wind and 39 'F but this can keep us inside and don't visit a Cafe for pipe smoking? NO WAY !

NgYOR3U.jpg

Skandinavik Vanilla.

The small inox cup supposed to be for the receipt but the Cafe owner with a blinking eye says that you can use it as an ashtray because that riffraff (the ''hygienists'') write in social media negative comments for any Cafe that gives ashtrays to the smokers. I said it before and i will say it again, even this will not stop us, NO WAY !

Spent a great afternoon at the local pub with Timbo smoking some fine English blends in my new Peterson Deluxe System Dark Smooth. Thanks, Timbo, for gifting this delicious tin of 2014 G&L Embarcadero and pipe tool/tamper. I don't remember the name of the other blend we smoked.

Good morning everybody. Ist smoke of the day today, after sleeping in longer than normal for me. So I'm going to plug a Savinelli Long John, with some Early morning pipe and sip away a rather large and frothy cappuccino, as me and Frodo watch the little birdies on the feeders. He will chase away any of the bigger birds, and invading squirrels,so the little ones get thier fill. It's always fun to watch.
Have a great day my friends

Must be something in the air, I just lit up a bowl of SPC plum pudding, in its dedicated bent billiard. Usually I wait until after dinner before I switch to the latakia blends but the weather changed my mind.

On a side note, I seem to have developed a singular taste for balkans after smoking so much PP. I just got through some 2oz samples of the main bulk balkans from pipes and cigars, also tried white night and peterson balkan mixture. But none of them had enough flavor for me, I don't want to stay stuck in this rut so I would love some recommendations for a strong balkan to shock my tastebuds!
Arango Balkan Supreme.

Like Zippo a bit late to the party this morning. Slept in a little extra, then my riding buddy and his wife stopped by early to drop off their pup Marty for a week while they are in Cali. They usually board him when gone but when they took him in yesterday they found out his rabies shot was overdue and the kennel wouldn't take him so they asked if we could. We don't mind as he is a sweet little guy and gets along g fine with our dogs but I have to go along for the early walk as 3 dogs is too much for the wife to handle. Anyway, back home and enjoying Hobbits Weed in a Don Carlos bent brandy and a big mug of CR coffee. Hope everyone is having a good day. Sorry you have to work EZ.

Not far from finishing this bowl of year 2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Another feral has been showing up lately. Very shy and afraid, but hungry. It won't let me get near him/her (?), but I did talk to it through the screen door, and it sat there and listened. Maybe it's a first step? Anyway, Tomato the Brave didn't like it eating his food, but when the cat left, I gave Tomato more food.

A third of a bowl left of year 2001 VaPer Three Nuns in a 1938 straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Chatting with an old college buddy.

41° and sunny. All that snow, and now things are melting with rain in the forecast. I hope the gutters thaw before the rain comes. Large rusticated Italian billiard with new LNF. Good smoke, but like a rookie, I couldn't get the bottom to burn for beans. 7.5/10
