Hi From U.K., just returning to pipe smoking. Unhappy to see that many of the old favourite baccy’s are gone. I used to smoke Four Square (green) & Balkan Sobranie but neither now available - l think the nearest I’ve heard of to those two is White Knight & as that’s a USA brand l can’t get that either!
Anyway, greetings to all from Hertfordshire U.K.

Thanks for that. I’ll get a few samples. It’s going to be a bit of a slog to find a Balkan Sobranie replacement but hey, who knows what’s out there & it might surprise me!

Wow, another Brit, lol. Welcome from AZ cowboy country. You should chat with Zippo. He might have some suggestions for you. As for White Knight being a replacement for Balkan Sobranie, IMHO, it isn't. I smoked BSOSM all the way through college and several years after and White Knight ain't it, lol. Hope you enjoy the forum.

Hi Ranger, appreciate the comment re White Knight. I’ll take a couple of days just to get my feet under the BoB table then I’ll give Zippo shout. Looks a good forum.

Welcome from the western states James! I never got a chance to try the original BSOSM, but I'm also looking for the perfect Balkan mixture. I found white knight underwhelming too, but you never know till you try it.
