People backing out of deals in Trading Post

Yes, exactly. I wonder how many other people popped-in on the thread only to see the items were already spoken for while the guy was yankin' my chain. I hope they pop back in to check like you did. Other times, like with my big tobacco for sale thread, a couple of people have told me "I'll take...

People backing out of deals in Trading Post

Should there be repercussions for people who tell you "I'll take this" then backing out on the deal? This has happened before here to me and happened twice today by the the same person (not the same person as before). Should I let people know who does this in the feedback forum?

Just completed a transaction with this gentleman. Was very polite and pleasant to deal with; even though I had made a mistake. Would recommend and deal with again.

Need to change my BOB acct e-mail address

I just checked in my user profile and noticed my old, no-longer-valid, e-mail address is shown. I'd like to change it without opening a new account but didn't see an option for that. Am I missing something or do I need a MOD to help me out? Thanks!

    Presbyterian Mixture

I can't wait to try it some day. I have ten tins of it laid back with about a year-and-a-half on them. I hear aging does wonders for it.

    Grow your own

"At $5.56 a pack, smokers are spending about $120 per pound of tobacco." Wow. Put in that perspective makes pipe tobacco look like a bargain!

    The Parfait thread!

I've been thinking about trying some parfaits but don't know where to begin. Please tell us about your parfaits! How often do you do it? Preferred pipes/sizes/styles? Your favorite Parfait tobaccos and in what order? Edit to add: OK, I tried my first one tonight in large Ascorti Business KS...

    Tinderbox Pipe Tobacco

BEWARE! A local Tinderbox nearly ruined my attempts at enjoying pipe smoking years ago! When I was much younger, before there was an internet, I trusted the people there and they convinced me that some heavily cognac cased garbage of tobacco was as good as it could get. I struggled with smoking...

Has anyone ordered any FVF from Pipes & Cigars lately?

Thanks guys. I may have to do one of those two suggestions soon. Does me no good to wait for months when the tobacco I ordered was for aging!?!

Has anyone ordered any FVF from Pipes & Cigars lately?

Just wondering because I had an order from late April/early May that I got shorted 1lb on and I keep getting told that it's on backorder.

How much do you have cellared?

I'm a light smoker and happy with my 54lbs for now. Should last me quite a while.
