    Need a pipe rack

Yes, there are many online. But I've had a couple bad experiences and want the recommendation of someone who has actually got one and that would recommend the place they've bought it from. New, not used. But thanks for your reply.

Anyone having other problem with Pipes and Cigars?

Yes, I've had many problems with Pipes and Cigars. Problems with this seller are posted all over the internet. Good luck.

Thanks, belatedly, for the heads up. Was able to snag 10 tins :)

    Storing square tins

Never had a problem with square tins, although I've heard of it. I have many, the oldest from 1990, and live in high altitude. Store them right and I think you should have no issues.

Your Favorite Sweet & Smoky Blends

I'm smoking Deacon's Downfall right now. It is a latakia blend, but it falls right into your description.

    Selling your McClelland's?

Don't use cedar as a humidor for loose pipe tobacco. The cedar scent will eventually contaminate it. If it's tined, you need a cool and dry place, certainly not a humidor. Good luck.

    Need a pipe rack

I need a pipe rack like this: Does anyone know where I can get one, or order one custom made? I'm looking for advice from someone who got one of these new and would recommend the maker/seller. Thanks.

    Shaving soap recommendation

All of them were used. But they were stored in cool and dry conditions (Colorado weather) in my basement. A few examples from the top of my head: Many of the soaps were fine, with little to no change. Many others were drier and showed some cracks, but were also fine. Some of the softer soaps...

    Shaving soap recommendation

I'm surprised this thread is still going, but I guess it is a good thing. Enjoyed reading it. On my side, after three years of testing I've decided to go back to creams. Not that there is anything wrong with soaps, it's just that creams are much easier to use. Performance wise, I find them all...

Jim's Sam Gawith Cabbie's Mixture Review.

Going through a tin at the moment. It's a good blend, but it lacks the sweetness that I seek in blends of this nature. Will enjoy the tin, but it's not a keeper for me.

    Finding tobacco release dates

Is there a way to find out when a certain tobacco was first sold in the US? As you know, FDA regulations are going to severely impact the availability of blends that appeared after 2007. I would like to know if there is an easy way to determine if a certain blend falls in the FDA bleach bucket...

    Jim's St. Bruno Reviews.

Tried the pouch and I'm a bit disappointed. The flavor is substantially weaker than it was in the early 2000's, which is when I smoked it last. It is also a bit different, perhaps more floral than I remember it. My memory may be a bit off, but I remember more fig, or raisin, and less flowers. I...

    Skin problems with wet sahving

I cannot give you advice because I am not a doctor (I can't even look at your face to really offer any useful suggestion). What I can say is that wet shaving is fun and all, and that's how I usually shave, but I found that it is not the best way to shave if you are concerned about skin care. If...

    Interesting comparosin

I find that I get equally good shaves with DE and with multi-blade cartridges. I use DE because I like stainless steel hardware (i.e., the razors), but always take cartridge razors when traveling. Oh, well...

    Wet Shavers' preferred blades

Some people are picky about their blades, others are not. I'm in the second group: after trying many brands, I found they all worked, except Merkur. The real difference for me concerned how many shaves they last. Some lasted only one or two shaves, while others lasted more than 6 or 7. I like to...

Great to have these blends back. I hope some time in the future MacBaren brings us Benson & Hedges Mellow Virginia, too.

Jim's Sam Gawith Cabbie's Mixture Review.

Thanks for the review, Jim. I just saw this and many other new blends I've never heard about, such as Lakeland Dark, Black Forest, Roper's Roundels and Salty Dogs. I also saw that Gold Block is back. Not that it is a great blend, but I used to buy tons of this in duty-free shops in the 90s. But...
