    Not new, but back.

So I am not new to pipe smoking or the BoB, but I am back to the forums. About seven years ago I went offline almost completely, but now I am back online in certain areas.

    Missouri Meerschaum Country Gentleman.

Has anyone tried this blend? I saw that p&c was offering this a month or so back, and I would like to purchase a pouch, however I would like to see if anyone has any experience with it before I spend the money.

My mother-in-law is in town and I need some recipes for her. I have Hennessy privilege, sweet and dry vermouths, grand marnier, peychaud bitters, michter's sour mash, paul masson brandy, raspberry tea, lemon, lime, and oranges.

    Happy Independence Day.

Happy Independence day to everyone. Today is a day of celebration and remembrance. As we celebrate our freedom let us also remember those who have come before us to build this nation, those who currently serve our nation, and those who have died so that we may continue to celebrate this day...

Brothers near the Beaufort SC Region.

Good evening everyone, I was wondering if any of the brothers here live near the Beaufort SC Area, and if so would like to have a smoke sometime. I recently moved down here and so I have to find new people to smoke with. Also does anyone know of any good pipe or tobacco stores around this area.

    This is an unacceptable attack.

Pamela McColl, a Canadian publisher, has attacked one of the oldest and most endearing smoking traditions. In the latest edition of A Visit From St. Nicholas she has removed any reference to Santa Claus smoking, to include the cover illustration. It is a terrible day in the world when it...

    I thought BoB was gone.

Well until yesterday I could not get onto BoB, and I thought that it might be gone for good. Thank goodness it is not because I was starting to get bored and that is never safe.

    I Lost My Father

When I was groing up my father was never there so my god father took over when I was young and became my father. He taught me everything, including what it means to be a man. Late last week I lost him in a car accident, I always thought that men never cried, and I had never seen him cry, but...

Trying to Figure Out the Mailbox.

The first problem I had was that I had filled my sent box so my messages went into my out box, so I hit edit and send to try and send them but they are still in my outbox. And now my sent box is not full, but most of my messages are still going into my outbox and I can not figure out how to get...

    Frog Morton on the Bayou

I bought 100 grams of this about a year ago, locked it in my personal locker at work, and then lost the key. About two weeks ago I found the key and retrieved my tobacco. I got my chance to try it for the first time tonight and I loved it. It was incredibly smooth and slightly sweet, a little...

    My beagle died today.

Well my beagle, my closest companion, passed today. He was only two years old. He died of kidney failure from a condition that we did not know he had until last night. It was a condition that he has had since before we got him a little over a year ago, yet the vets we went to on the base...

    1600 dollar perique

Well apparently McClelland's perique must me laced with gold flakes because it is selling for sixteen hundred dollars. I called to let them know that the brand and price were wrong, but I just thought this was hilarious. http://www.thebriary.com/index.php/tobacco/tobacco-mcclelland/perique.html

    Lee Van Cleef pipe

Ever since my first time watching his movies I have loved his pipes. My favorite one is his pipe from death rides a horse. I am trying to get some pictures, but if anyone knows which one I am talking about, I am looking for some information on it. It is the bent billiard, the briar pipe, not...

    Man Fire Nation

In my job one thing that I have learned to appreciate is a good scented candle, they have saved me on several inspections because if it smells clean it must be clean. Well anyway before today I had been disappointed because they always seemed to be designed with women in mind. But now I have...

    2012 TAPS Raleigh pipe show

With this coming up in just over a month I was wondering who is going. It is on the fourteenth of April and I am definitely dragging my family there. Also does anyone know if you have to register ahead of time to attend or if there are any attendance fees.

A Convenient Hobby For Pipe Smoking

I was wearing my nice sunday boots the other day and I noticed that they could use a little saddle soaping, and it got me to thinking back when I used to make it myself as a little side hobby. It is a good time and saddle soap is a useful thing to have for just about anyone since most people...

    Broadening my horizons

So far in my limited experience with pipesmoking I have not strayed far from my Englishes, and I have no regrets in this because I love my English blends. However I would also like to broaden my horizons. I would like to try a virginia or two and couple of burley's. Unfortunately like most...

    My Penzance came in.

So my penzance came in this afternoon, and I have to say that it was great from start to finish. To start, the smell of it in the bag was great, and I like how when I went to rub it out it just crumbled in my hand. I have never found a blend with with orientals that I enjoyed but in this blend...

    Question about my pipe jar

My wife just bought me a pipe jar, and while it is a nice jar there is no way for it to seal. It is a ceramic jar and the lid only sits on the top. Does any one have any ideas for forming a seal so that I can keep my tobacco fresh.
