I would definitely have that repaired. I cannot afford a dunhill but aside from what it is, the memories made with that pipe must be even more important than the value of the pipe. Even if the repair is a bit imperfect it will just be one more memory with it.

Let's think positively. Maybe she had to go to the bank before her trip because she plans to stop and buy you a wonderful pipe with a tin of your favorite tobacco. For holding down the fort when she is off doing whatever it is her group plans on doing...probably not though good luck!

I just use one I bought at Walmart. It seems to be accurate as I have compared my results to what I get at the Dr or the units at the drugstores
