    Thank you, yes I did figure that out. haha. I was hoping there was a more detailed list to look at. The list on Pipedia was compile by a famous Stanwell collector Basil Stevens. But there are a number of missing shapes and variations I was hoping to find.

    I use Renaissance Wax, and it does a great job... so much so that I sell it. I used to use Halcyon and it works good too. I talked to Sam at Fine Briars about 2 weeks ago, the maker of Halcyon Wax, and he's on a hiatus, but plans to start offering his line of Waxes again in the next few months...

    Well... just to be clear, the Brasso is for just removing oxidation. Depending on how thick the oxidation is, you may need a couple passes. You can clean it up with the olive oil (any kind will do), and then you can polish it with smooth polishing pads and you will get a nice subtly shiny...

    I get it. I wipe it off quickly and follow with micro sanding with olive oil. This is a quickie trick when a wheel isn't available.

    Oops... just saw your query. If using the Brasso for oxidation on Vulcanite, just wipe it off after 20 secs or so. :giggle:
