I use perique very sparingly, as well as Turkish or latakia. The main tobaccos I use are Virginia and burley. They are like the bread and butter, the others are like the jam or spice.

As a non-expert, when I smoke a pipe or cigar, I produce saliva, but I swallow it, with each puff, more or less. I think that's part of tasting the tobacco.

It did produce a weak chuckle but not for the pertinent reasons.

Looks OK. We had three of em last week at night in the garden. All you could see were their eyes lit up like headlights. A happy family going about their business. w/o regulations.

Greetings from Norco, CA. Have been enjoying MacBaren's Balkan Blend too. Love burleys too - some good Peretti's and I enjoy blending my own, using burley, virginia, and a touch of Latakia or Turkish.

It means you mostly enjoy burley. :) BTW I enjoy Peretti's burleys, particluarly the Cuban mixture and the Belmont. I also like Amphora's Burley.
