Here's a closeup

I'm still somewhat new to pipe smoking and have never encountered mold before. I'd heard about mold issues with Steamworks, and sure enough when I opened a tin I saw what looks like mold to me. What do y'all say? If it is mold, can I request a refund?

And by less I mean basically none. Occasionally I'll notice it if I don't let it burn for a second, but usually I don't even think about waiting and almost never notice it.

I found the Zippo brand fluid to have less smell than the Ronson.

I have a tin of Orlik Golden Sliced and to the right of the barcode it reads "2207071028." Are those first 6 digits the date? As in 7-7-2022? I don't see anything else that might be a date. Thanks!
