I'm in Sanford. We got pummeled. Lowe's flattened. Tractor Supply torn up. Lots of homes fouled up. It missed our neighborhood, though. I work at the local hospital and we were slammed for 4 hours after the storm. Had a couple of deaths, tragically. Sad time. Hopefully we'll be back to normal...

Good to see ftrplt and adauria there. It was a great show with lots of goodies. Grabbed a couple of tins from C&D but the one pipe calling my name and beckoning me was a good $75 - $95 out of reach. My wife gets veto power after a certain point. ha ha Maybe next year.

TAPS Pipe & Tobacciana Expo I haven't seen this posted, but it is happening. At the NC Fairgrounds in Raleigh tomorrow from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Anyone going? I'll be there around noonish. It was a pretty good spread last year.

Leaving this afternoon to go camping. I'm taking my Mike Brissett bent apple with some Trout Stream and my Neerup Classic Sandblast bent apple with some Butternut Burley. These should be good smokes by the fire with some Canadian whiskey.

I received an estate Aldo Velani Longshank 112 as a gift in 2001. It came with a couple of dings in it. It's a fine smoker. I smoke GLP Westminster in it, and it does a nice job for me. I may have to get another some day. They're a great pipe for the $50-75 range most of them fall in.
