A Tale of the Briar Empty
PostSubject: A Tale of the Briar   A Tale of the Briar EmptyTue Apr 22, 2014 11:41 pm

Stick's story reminded me of a blog post I wrote last September that I never shared here. It is a short tale of how my love affair with the briar came to be, along with some nostalgic memories of my grandfather.

Anyway, enjoy: A Tale of the Briar

That was a fine read Josh, beautifully written. I think you and I are very much alike; I do a lot of research if something interests me and the world of the briar has been no different. Amazing that you could find a birthyear Caminetto unsmoked too. I also have very fond memories of Pa puffing away and I was only thinking of him last night as I immersed myself in a bowl of dark cherry courtesy of SG. Thanks for sharing brother.

I started to smoke a pipe in honor of my grandfather. Even the shapes I choose I'm sure are ones he either had or would've liked.

The story was very enjoyable and one I'm sure many of us can identify with.

Thanks for the good read!
