As has been seen with several groups of Radice, Ascort and Castello pipes plus thos of other Italian Pipemakers it all had to start somewhere and that would be this Caminetto.

The workmanship of both Ascorti and Radice is easily seen here. Deep craggy wonderful shape is this Caminetto Business KS with long shank and amber colored stem. Keeping it smokey with Mac Baren Virginia Flake.

Thank goodness Tinderbox sold Caminettos (and Ascortis) in practically every mall in the USA. It all but guarantees a generous supply of these pipes on the estate market. Easily my favorite brand. Easily the most consistent brand I've experienced. Easily one of the best values from new to estate. I'm grateful I'm not a collector. For me, it would have been easy to get out of hand with Caminettos of old.
