Smoking my first briar in awhile is this hand made without any kind of machinery the Pipemaker goes by the name of Briar Spirit and it’s a lovely straight grained plateau capped beauty with an amber colored stem. I kept it smokey with some Butera Long Cut Golden Flake.

Damn Sam, that Cauldron/Calabash/whatever-you-want-to-call-it/with the plateau rim is impressive. Including and especially the tasteful use of the tortoise shell stem.

That's one hell of a manly pipe right there and no mistake. Looks good on you Banjo, but more than that you're back in the saddle. Very Happy

I do wish Kirk would check in here on BoB. He's sorely missed.

Cheers,

RR

Rande, I remember when he posted pics of that one fresh off the block as it were. It was simply stunning then and it's just as beautiful now! I agree Kirk is badly missed I hope things straightened out for him. Such a shame to lose touch with a talented man like him.

Looking good there Banjo! Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. I know Kirk would be thrilled to know you have a sample of his work!

Keep it smokey
Jim
