Well, it's Saturday afternoon and I'm sat in my back garden sipping on a new cob with a new blend (thank you Bombing Sqn), watching the aerobatic comp at my local airfield. The martins (can't see if they're of the sand or house variety) seem to be competing too, and, I may add, seem to be doing rather well. The black birds are singing and an occasional cow chimes in for the chorus. Ah, life in the 'shire.

I’m a bit jealous of you, sounds like a great afternoon. I bought a house with a small airstrip nearby. If I sit outside and smoke, it has to be before 7:00 am if I don’t want small planes/ helis flying over head lol. I am, however far enough away from the interstate to not hear the traffic hum. That’s a bonus.
