2014 Greater Kansas City Pipe & Tobacco Show

If you are coming I hope you already booked your room.  There are rumors going around that the Argosy has sold all of the GKCPC rooms.  I'm sure you can still get in on the show price if you ask to speak to a manager.  Keep in mind that time is of the essence......the Argosy has sold out EVERY Friday and Saturday night since they opened (I'm NOT joking).

There is a meeting of the GKCPC on the Thursday before the show at Cigars & Tabac.  It is a must if you are coming in for the show.  Everyone, and I mean everyone, will be there.

I called yesterday morning to make my reservation and the girl said they were getting full. Ryan Alden called yesterday afternoon and had to talk to a manager to get the show rate......call now!

Now that the Chicago show is over I wanted to give this a bump.

I wanted to give this a bumb as the show is coming up quickly.

There has been a developement with the raffles I wanted to share.  Due to Missouri Gaming regulations we cannot sell any raffle tickets at the show as it is on casino property.  So...The Grand Raffle has been converted to a silent auction that will run during the show.

The Carver's Raffle is still on as normal....BUT YOU MUST PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS ONLINE BEFORE THE SHOW STARTS ON SATURDAY!!!

Visit the GKC Pipe Club website and purchase your raffle tickets at the bottom of the page.  

YOU NEED NOT BE PRESENT TO WIN!!!!

IF all 300 tickets are sold I will be holding a 2nd chance drawing.  The winner will get a pipe from me of their choice (within reason, there fellers    )

The tickets are 1 for $25 or 5 for $100.  So, come on boys....buy your tickets now.  You have a 1 in 300 chance of winning a 7 day set of Billiards from the BEST carvers in North America.  Those are some fantastic odds.

At the last count (on Saturday) there were 86 of 300 tickets sold.  I will update that total as we get closer to the show.
