I am looking to sell most of my stash of FVF.  Nothing wrong with it, I have just lost my taste for it.  It has been cellared for 6 to 7 years in the mason jars as shown in a plastic tub under my bed, so it has been temperature controlled. It is showing some good signs of crystallizing, and I think will make someone quite happy!

I figure a new 50g tin is about $12 so I am going to ask $15 per 50g since it has about 5-6 years of aging.

So, long and short of it:

$15 per 50g plus $3 shipping.  I will double bag it in a padded bubble mailer.  If you order over 200g I may need to charge more for shipping, but we can work that out via PM if you want a larger quantity.

I will update periodically with the amount still remaining. 850g available.

650g available

I can take Paypal or money order and will ship it out upon receipt of payment.  PM with questions.

This seems like a no brainer on an extremely popular blend from a reputable seller. I’ve given up on trying to figure out why good stuff sells or doesn’t.

Nothing sells because the site is a ghost town

Yeah, Summer is a slow time. Only about 50 members have logged onto the site yesterday and today, thus far. And that doesn’t count that they might have come and gone and come back, etc. So I don’t think I’d call that a ghost town. Whatever. Things typically pick up in the Fall. Maybe you’ll visit more often than annually...that would help. :D

I'm in sales professionally and this time of year is always slow. Back to school time and end of vacation season.

One down... <img class="emojione" alt="?" title="" src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/emojione/assets/png/1f601.png?v=2.2.7"/>

Still for sale...

another 50 grams gone.

At this rate it will be gone by 2021!!
:D

I will soon be posting this on another forum, so if you are interested, now would be the time to get some. I expect it to go pretty quickly once I post it elsewhere.

Thanks!

I'd buy some but I'm always leery of Canada customs and what they'll end up adding to the cost. I was badly burned on a shipment from C&D a long time back - cost me in taxes and duty as much as the tobacco itself. I'm not sure how a small amount privately purchased would fair.

I suppose I could have it sent to my son in Florida but I won't be seeing him until Christmas 2020.

Count your blessings that you don’t live in the UK or Oz...NZ too I think. The stuff is like a zillion bucks a tin there. Truly brutal.

And it will only get worse here in Canada Blackhorse. New regs on labeling put emphasis on font size and color..or should say no color. The labels will al be generic and printed in gray scale. No more recognizing your favorite brand on the shelf by it's unique label. This means that pipe tobacco companies, which I believe there are none in Canada, have to have different labels for here over other countries. I think many won't bother as pipe tobacco is a small market in Canada. If they do or don't prices will soar and the few entrepreneurs who have recently opened some really nice stores catering to pipes, cigars, shaving supplies and associated paraphernalia will disappear.

Meanwhile, our moronic government approves labeling for legalized Cannabis products that look like a candy store compared to pipe tobacco. Even more so for vaping products.
