I was doing some general cleaning on some of my pipes and decided to take a picture for some inexplicable reason.  I apparently have a fetish for military 'spigot' pipes.  Here are a few surrounding my venerable Dunhill.  Three Petersons and one Ashton:

Very nice pipes. I've wanted a military mount for years. I've just never pulled the trigger on one.

I never knew I liked military/spigot mounts until I got a few, I fact I thought I didn't like the way they looked at all lol, now I love them. I have a couple in my collection, maybe I'll post them this afternoon when I get home from work.

Eggman, pull the trigger

here are my spigots, all Petersons.

That 'sitter' on the bottom looks a lot like mine.

I remember buying that pipe at the Scottish tobacco shop on King Street in Old Town Alexandria. I bought several pipes there.
