This next pipe came to me as just the stummel w/o any idea of what the stem looked like or who made it.
Once I received it and cleaned it up I was able to make out the maker as Jost, which was a tobacco shop in St. Louis, MO, the model is a Belvedere and it appears to be basically a Freehand with plateau bottom and an intricate and ornate band. The ivory stem in it is one I had from a pipe that burned out and fit it although a slight bend might make it look better.
Keeping it smokey with the last of the F&T Cut Virginia Plug from this tin.
