Yeah, Alejandro should have won American Idol, or maybe Madison Vandenburg. But, all the teeny boppers had to vote in the pretty boy Laine Hardy. Most of the talent is pretty good, but that show is a joke. :roll:
Agreed. Yet consider...by being second Aranda was free to follow his own path. Since then he has released a number of new originals and after an initial short concert tour is going on another much longer tour, even including Portland. WooHooo! So by losing, he won...and so did we.
And even though the show is totally self serving and mostly a PITB to watch, it DOES produce many solid artists plus an occasional major talent.
