Unfortunately true. There was never much principled opposition to these bans; it was mostly pragmatic whining and pitting the one group against the other, then counting heads, etc.--one of the defects of democracy. Arguments should have had a property rights and freedom of association context, to my mind. I wonder if people would get the point if smoking were made mandatory?
 
I really don't care what happens out in the world as long as my home and car are smoke friendly. :shock:
