Prop logo and stamped "KB&B"

Gotta love ebay.

Thanks!
Not bad for a 70 year old pipe.

From pipedia:

"Pipes from 1933-1936 they were stamped "Honey Cured Briar"
Post 1936 pipes were stamped "Cured with Real Honey"
Pipe stems stamped with the propeller logo were made in the 1930's or 1940's - no propellers were used after the 1940's."

This one is stamped "Cured with Real Honey" so late 30's or 40's.

Excellent find! Love the 30's and 40's KBB pipes. Not much compares to them.

Cool. Good to hear. This will be my first KBB/Kaywoodie/Yello Bole of any era. Tracking says it should be here tomorrow.

It's here. Sweet little piece. It's a lot smaller than I imagined. That's OK, I had decided I needed to get some smaller bowls, and a few more medium bowls, and....

Yeah you have to keep in mind that tobacco consumption in the 30's and 40's was much different than today. You smoked all day usually you only had one or two pipes and they were much smaller and more portable. I have a Kaywoodie Super Grain from the 30's that is an amazing smoker but you'd be hard pressed to get 30 minutes out of it. You'll have to let us know how she smokes for you.
