Hi everyone. I recently purchased this pipe from ebay. The former owner new nothing about this piece as there are no markings on it except for the standard sterling silver on the band so I was wondering if anyone has seen one before. It has a double bore mouthpiece meaning it has two holes one on each side as you can see in one of the pics I posted. Other than that besides being a great smoker there isn't much else to go by to try and identify the maker. It only comes apart buy the yellow band. It is threaded but does not use a filter and I'm not sure if middle part of the shank is an extension or if it is just made that way but it does make the pipe longer than the standard 6 inches. So I'm holding that the double bore stem or mouthpiece will give it away to someone. Let me know if you have a clue. Thanks!

For some reason I think of Karl Erik as a possible maker of that pipe when I look at it. If it was one of his it would have a stamp on the shank and the mouthpiece. Looks like a Danish pipe design to me that could have ended up as a basket pipe back in the day and the reason why no stamps. Some of my best pipes have no stamps or have stamps not traceable to a known maker. That is a great looking pipe you got there and glad it smokes well for you.

Many years ago I bit through the stem of a pipe that was then one of my favorites. I took it to a local repair lady and she suggested a double-bore bit similar to the one you're showing. I did it; it worked well, and I still have it. Just wondering if something similar could have occurred with your pipe...
