Easy one for me to answer!! Not sure I can say I'm a blender per se! Mine is more of a "dump and mix." I have one large glass jar that I dump those last few shreds from a tin, box, smaller jar, ceramic jar, etc. and just let them mix/meld together. I don't put aros in this mixture. It's mostly Latweed/s, Ginnyweeds (all types!), and Orientals. I sometimes have a blend I just cannot "get in to," it goes in "the Jar" also. I let it sit for a week or so, then smoke a bowl or three in a cob or meer to check it out!!! If I don't quite like it, I just add a pinch or three of smoky Latweed; then let it meld for another few days. That usually cures the problem!! FTRPLT

Wow!! Interesting...You may not say you're a blender per se! But its pure genius combining all those and come up with one BEST blend.
Cheers!!

Here's one I blended for my daughter when she started smoking a pipe, she quite liked it and so did I.

10% Perique
20% Lemon Virginia
40% Red Virginia
25% Orientals
5% Latakia

Good luck with it all Angie.

Oh thanks, Timbo! This must be the best blend for the ladies. Yes, as long as there's no cherry...

No worries at all Angie, I let it meld in a jar for a month or so after mixing it and it was a pleasing smoke with plenty of nuance, flavours shifting here and there. You don't really notice the Latakia but I'm sure it would be a more boring blend with it left out. From memory I used the Stokkebye blending tobaccos.

Hope you like it if you try making it.

Everything you got here piqued my curiosity already.
Thank you guys for posting.

I’ve been smoking a mix of 70% macbaren old dark fired ready rubbed, 20% Prince Albert and 10% five brothers for a little extra punch.

30% Toasted Red Virginia
10% Orientals
40% Latakia

Oh I have many more blends much heavier on the Latakia Steve, but this one was blended more for my daughter's tastes than mine as she doesn't like strong flavours too much.

I did assume that to be true.
