Ugh. I'm lucid.

Went in to the doctor's office for a consultation and ended up admitted. The specialist isn't available until after the first of the year. So there was a stopgap procedure. Now, instead of numb legs they hurt. Another doctor is dealing with my vision, but I've yet to hear about that. So I'm home until I get a call.

Wow...six of one, half dozen of the other...or something. I guess you know how dangerous putting a foot outside your front door is.

All of us hope and pray for your full and complete recovery. We will accept nothing less. So get on with it. We’re awaitin’.

Right?

Oh yes, I'm so relieved that at least something was billed to my insurance company.

I love med insurance stories. Recently when I had to go to the ER for the kidney stone thing they needed to do a cat scan AND an MRI...plus other stuff of course. We got the bill after it had been submitted to MediCare and the supplemental insurance (United Health Care...for which I pay nothing). The total was $6000. My share was $250. Worked for me. Hope your story turns out as well. Think good thoughts, bro.

Hmmm.... not good to know that your leg situation has grown worse after the procedure. That shouldn't be. At least you're back home where you can feel more comfortable than in a hospital. Hope things start improving soon.

Cheers,

RR

At this point I'm thinking numb was better than feeling. But walking around was like using stilts. I couldn't really feel the ground, cold or heat, and occasionally just fell over. This is going in the right direction towards healing, it's just a rough journey. I'm told this will build my character. :geek:

But . . . I thought you were already a character?

Thank you sir.

In this situation, pain is a good thing to have, it means there are still nerves etc. thinking about working again. Glad to hear there’s some improvement Bob, hopefully the new year will see you right.

Ozzie, sorry to hear about your problems. I hope that the surgery helps your back. Hang in there and I am sending prayers your way to aid in a speedy recovery. Mike
