Hey guys,
Just picked up a sweet new Armellini that looks like a dream come true.
But the draw is terrible: like a P-lip, but without those benefits.

I've determined that the problem is in the stem. It's a full-bent, almost Oom Paul with a stem that I'm pretty sure is vulcanite.
I was thinking about having it sent away to open up the draw.

1. What do you know about Armellini's?

2. Can anything be done about the stem?

Could be when the stem was being bent the inside draft hole became distorted. Difficult for a non professional to repair.

I would be surprised if it was vulcanite... if it is, you could boil it, unbend it, run a pipe cleaner or two up into it and try to open it up and re-bend it.

But a professional fix would be easier, and wouldn't cost much, I think.

If it is a used pipe, sometimes there may be a bit of solidified gunk in the
stem that you can remove with soaking in alcohol and bristle pipe cleaners.

Hello
If you know there is nothing like gunk that has stopped the air hole then I would use a heat gun, after placing a pipe cleaner through the stem heat it just enough to bend it where you think it is the troubled spot then run it under cool water
