I just watched a clip of Amazon's Bezos in space. They were only up there for a couple minutes. Maybe 3-4 minutes? Yet, they spent time posing for pictures, flashing words they'd written on their palms before blast off, hugging each other as they were weightless, etc. I don't get it. I don't know about you, but if I only had a couple minutes to experience my dream of being in space, I'd be gazing out the window, floating around in my own being and thoughts, and being selfish with those precious moments. I wouldn't be signaling in various ways to the world. Even if I thought I'd be in space again, that would be my first experience. Nothing like a first experience. I wouldn't think to make it a party until my feet were back on terra firma. Even in a moment as unique as that, we cannot seem to be in the moment. So crazy to me.
