Obviously, living in the rural south, apparently,we get our mail & news of other types on a delayed basis. Having said that; I heard this week of Bjarne's untimely passing. Over the years, I had the good fortune to get to know Bjarne. Usually, he would spend a winter day at McCranies selling his wares & discussing world topics; the value of the Euro was his latest. He really hated price increases but had his back to the wall when comparing the dollar/Euro value. He was just as interested in selling a pipe for $69 as he was in moving a more perfect $350 pipe. He'll be missed in the industry &, God knows who will, or can, take his place. I was wondering if any of the Brothers were present when he passed? Thanks & I will sure miss him & his humor.
