I found these to be the best despite a wide variety of bought and handmade ones that I have had. the square end has to be rotated to get all around the bowl, but it works nicely. simple and elegant tool. Wish they may have made the square head come to a more rounder end - but for what it is - it is nice.

tapper and tool for removal - nothing more is needed.

I have to agree. I have acquired a wide variety of tampers and tools, but the Brebbia nail is tried and true and I never worry about losing it while I'm out. It's kind of like sunglasses - the more expensive they are, the quicker you lose/break them. And the best thing is it fits perfectly in that little watch pocket on my jeans.

I've used the same Czech since '89 or '90. My last baccy order (a few months ago) had a silver pipe nail in it. It wasn't wrapped so I assumed it fell in or something.

I like it. Simple. Does its job.
