I got asked to go fishing with a couple of mates from work and they commented how they liked my bucket set up so I made them one each in appreciation for the invite.
I saw a guy at a pier/jetty with it probably 25years ago and made on for myself back then. I don't bait fish much usually lures/plastics and flys but I could set 2 rods and do a bit of flicking while they were soaking baits.
I added a rope so If I was fishing from pier could drop it in the drink ,fill it with water to make it more stable(always lightened my dray if I walked away from it) Good for washing hands or thawing frozen bait too.
Handy to put rod in if you need to rig up after the big one busted me off also
