I contacted Shaeffer (now owned by A.T. Cross apparently) about my broken pen.  They replied they no longer have parts but they sent me a list of repair shops specializing in vintage writing instruments.  If anyone is interested PM me an email address and I'll forward the list to you.

That's a bummer brother. Hopefully one of the repair shops can help you out.

I never could figure out how to copy the spread sheet to post, so...

I sent my pen to Main Street Pen; Ron Zorn was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful.  He was able to find a replacement barrel for my pen and also welded my broken barrel together so I'll have a spare.  I don't have it back yet but it's on the way; FAST service and very reasonable.

Have you received your pen back yet? If so how did it turn out? Post a pic I really like to see it.

Ha!  I just saw your post today!  The pen turned out great.  Ron at Main Street Pens had a replacement barrel for it, and he also repaired my broken one just so I'd have a spare.  I'll post a pic when I get home tonight.  Apparently these pens are notoriously fragile so it's been retired to desk duty.

A quick cell phone shot...
