I read a joke in Reader's Digest. It went something like this...

My wife must think I'm a god, at supper time she keeps putting burnt offerings on the table!

That is a good one.

In culinary class the moto\joke was, "We don't burn food, we caramelize." :cheers:

The funny thing is that it hits close to home. My wife loves ”roasting” vegetables in the oven to the point where they have charred ends on them. I don't particularly care for it. If I cook, I cook vegetables my way. When she cooks she cooks them her way.

I’ve been home all day and I can guarantee the house doesn’t smell like I’ve cleaning all day. It does smell like chili though.
