He did it again. This time a GMD fat-shank Rhoadesian. It was so caked and nasty it had to soak in alcohol for almost a week before it could be reamed, and to get the crud off the outside. Looked like a lump of sticky, black coal... But under the mess? No burns, no rot, no cracks, and pristine stamping. Perfect. (Go figure)
Anyway, he said since that was the case, might as well make a new stem for it, too. Here's the result:

Why am I posting this? If I were you, I'd start hiring Carlos to shop for my estate pipes. Bribe him with tobacco or pay a bounty. The man has X-ray eyes or something.
