Comoy's 185 Sandblast "Goldenbark" Restoration

Another Comoys Sandblast. A Pipesmagazine member posted one of these Goldenbark Sandblasts last year, but I can't find any catalog information on this finish. I assume it might have been Comoy's answer to the Dunhill Tanshell finish?

This one is heading to a straight-pipe fan in Las Vegas.

Yes, I've sold very billard pipe that I've ever restored. One guy has purchased 5-6 of them (including this one). I told him if I ever discover that I like this style pipes, I'll be looking for tall building to jump off.

:lol!: With billiards, Al, it ain't the style--it's the execution. A very tricky shape. I may pen an incredibly biased monograph sometime on the way a billiard should be shaped. I agree that a high percentage look dorky, to use a technical term.
