Anybody tried it yet? I just got my 4oz today and must say it smells delicious in the pouch! I think the name coerced me; great name to celebrate fall. Will probably try it at the gun club tomorrow.

Haven't tried it but because of you I ordered 4oz. Just arrived today, will give it a go tomorrow. It does smell wonderful. Have you tried it yet? How is it?

Here's my short sweet review from the "What are you..." thread that I posted on 9/12. I've only had a couple of bowls but so far I think it's a keeper. Anxious to hear your opinion!
"Took my pouch of Country Squire Hunting Creek to the gun club last night along with this military-mount Peterson 107, a big ol' billiard that takes a good load.. The tobacco is billed as an English aromatic and I would agree with that; don't typically care for aromatics and I found the sweetness repressed enough for my taste but still present; a great outdoor smoke!"
I quite enjoyed it. The aromatics in it are definitely lighter that some of the real heavy aeros of there

I haven’t had this one yet, but I’ve been pleased with all the blends I’ve tried from CS. Their Old Toby (now tombigbee) is my go-to smoke for around people. The aroma is enticing, not offensive, to non-smokers. And one of the few aromatics that I also enjoy smoking.

I actually like it. It's one that I can smoke in my living room without getting the look. Hunting Creek, Cowboy Coffee and Ruins Of Windsor are in my rotation. Cowboy Coffee is my favorite though, I'm mean wow, that blender was a genius!
+1 on the Cowboy Coffee. i think I will keep it in the rotation for a bit.

It's really good stuff. I caught a walft of it right after I lit it up and wow, the room note is fantastic!

I have 4oz of CS's Shepherd's Pie on the way. I love eating it, so I thought, why not smoke it!

I have a jar with about half a pound of Shepherd’s Pie in it and I really enjoy it. I also quite like their Cowboy Coffee, especially when I’m pretending to be our friend RangerI have 4oz of CS's Shepherd's Pie on the way. I love eating it, so I thought, my not smoke it!

Cowboy Coffee is my favorite pipe tobacco right now. I have a pound and a half of that lovely leaf in my cellar. I've always been a burley guy but the way Cowboy Coffee has its virginia processed it's just a fantastic smoke. My family likes the room note too.I have a jar with about half a pound of Shepherd’s Pie in it and I really enjoy it. If you like Cowboy Coffee, you might want to give Choctaw a try.
