I take it Chestnut Street is a local blend? What can you tell us about it? I'm always curious about local blends and since I actually grew up on Chestnut Street I'm particularly curious about this one. :)

Hi Rob, Chestnut Street is an aromatic blend by Patrick Callaghan at Jon's Pipe Shop in my hometown of Champaign, IL.  It is a new blend named after the street the shop recently moved to (University Ave & Chestnut St).  I don't know what all is in it, but it is similar to my old favorite blend from Patrick called Oak Park (named after the westside Chicago suburb).   Here is Oak Park on TobaccoReviews:  http://www.tobaccoreviews.com/blend/5776/jons-pipe-shop-oak-park

When I'm back home for Christmas, I'll stop by Jon's and pick up a few ounces of both Oak Park and Chestnut Street to get me by until my next trip to Champaign. :D  Although you cannot order online from them, I'm pretty sure you can call and place an order and they will ship it.  Here is their website:  http://www.pipeline.com/~pipeshop/jon.html

Thanks very much for the information. I'll check it out!
