[QUOTE="D.L.Ruth, post: 552193, member: 4303"] Yesterday we had to say good bye to our great dog Rocko. My wife rescued him, while I was on my first deployment 14 years ago, so she wasn't alone in the house. We don't know exactly how old he was when she got him but they said around 3 or 4 so he made it to about 17 or 18 years old. He became i huge part of our lives and has lived in 6 states with us and traveled cross country with us multiple times. Everyone who met him fell in love with him, there were even times that we would have trouble picking him up from the groomer because they just didn't want to give him back.
